MUSCAT : Neil George, an alumnus of Class X (2019-20) batch of Indian School Al Ghubra has secured All India Rank 92 in JEE Main and All India Rank 374 in JEE Advanced.
Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is a highly competitive exam in which lakhs of students compete for gaining admissions to prestigious Engineering colleges in India. Out of 2.6 lakh candidates who cleared the JEE Main, Neil secured AIR 92. In the 1.6 lakh candidates who registered for JEE Advanced, Neil secured AIR 374. This made him eligible for admission to IIT Bombay for Electrical Engineering.
His teachers at ISG remember him as a diligent and focused student who had a good academic record to his credit. He also made use of the opportunities made available through school activities such as math quiz, science exhibition and interhouse drama competition to develop the competitive edge needed to excel.
