MUSCAT : The jubilant students of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir have performed exceedingly well in class 12 CBSE Examination of 2022, marking yet another year of excellent academic and personal achievements at the school. Despite the challenges faced by our students due to the pandemic, all of the 281 students (155 in Science and 126 in Commerce stream) appearing in the examination, came out triumphant. Once again, the students of ISWK exhibited their grit and determination to set an all-time record for the school. Master Viren Haresh Kundnani topped the list of successful candidates among Science students with an astounding score of 97.4%. He scored the highest marks in Mathematics (99%) and Computer Science (99%).
Miss Akshaya Ayyappan secured the second place in the Science stream with 97.2%. She is also the subject topper in Physics (99%) and English (95%).
The third position in the Science stream is bagged by Miss Riya Deepak Shinde with 97%. She is also the subject topper in Biology (99%) and Psychology (99%).
Master Mohamad Salman Ali scored a centum in Chemistry.
The topper in Engineering Graphics is Master Malcom D Souza with 97%.
The top position in Computer Science has been shared by Master Viren Haresh Kundnani, Master Aadil Krishna Kalandiyil and Miss Richa Thakur with 99%
In the Commerce stream, Master Rohan Tom Saji topped with 95.4% He scored a centum in Accountancy and is also the subject topper in Economics (97%) and English (95%).
Miss Mirdula Natarajan secured the second place in the Commerce stream. She scored a centum in Business Studies and is also the proud subject topper in Economics with 97%.
Miss Alina Susan Mathew bagged the third position in the Commerce stream with 94.6%. Master Savio Shibu scored 99% in Entrepreneurship.
Four students scored 99% and distinguished themselves in Informatics Practices – Master Prajith Palaniappal, Miss Saranya Madhusoothanan, Miss Urmi Riteshkumar Mirani and Miss Shetty Anannyaa Dinesh.
Miss Anushka Korlapati, Master Rehan Ahmed, Miss Richa Thakur, Miss Shivani Vinod, Master Vikranth Udandarao, Miss Akshaya Ayyappan, Miss Swara Ashwinkumar and Master Rohan Tom Saji are the subject toppers in English with 95%.
The students of Applied Mathematics and Marketing also came out with flying colors. These two subjects were introduced in the academic year 2020-21 when this batch was in grade 11. The topper in Applied Mathematics is Miss Diya Atulkumar Parekh (93%) and the topper in Marketing is Miss Kanishka Shankar (98%).
