MUSCAT: Work is underway to review all indicators of Oman Vision 2040 and to verify their effectiveness in measuring and evaluating the path with clear targets every five years.
Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit hosted a press conference to review its annual report for 2021. The annual report is the first after the launch of the vision early last year.
His Excellency Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Head of the Follow-up Unit for the Implementation of Oman Vision 2040, stressed the importance of the media’s role in highlighting the efforts made to inform the community of what has been achieved in the Oman 2040 Vision.

Eng. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Kharusi, Director of the Digital Transformation Program in the Follow-up Unit for the Implementation of Oman Vision 2040 said: “About OMR 159 million were saved after reviewing the budgets proposed by government institutions within the plan of the Digital Transformation Program 2021-2025.”
