KOCHI: Panakkad Sayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, the President of the Indian Union Muslim League, Kerala State Committee passed away on Sunday. He was aged 74.
He was undergoing treatment for cancer at the hospital for some time. His condition worsened by Saturday afternoon, sources close to his family said.
Hyderali is the third son of Late Syed Ahmed Pookoya Thangal of Panakkad. Late Muhammadali Shihab Thangal, Late Umarali Shihab Thangal, Sadikhali Shihab Thangal and Abbasali Shihab Thangal are brothers.
