MUSCAT: Ten budding student entrepreneurs of Indian School Muscat, on Thursday, February 10, were felicitated with awards and certificates for their innovative and well-planned business ideas. The young winners were extolled by Mr Sachin Toprani, President ISM Management Committee. The participants had virtually shared their nascent inspiring business ideas through ‘Elevator Pitch’, a three-minute summary of their business plans, on 2nd February 2022.
The esteemed guests, on the presentation day, Ms Samira Bint Salloum Bin Khalouf Al Tali’yya, Head of Entrepreneurship Department, Ministry of Education, and Mr Gaurav Anil Nahar, CEO and Creator, Akeed Delivery App, shared their expertise with the young entrepreneurs. The students focused on solutions to social problems, carbon reduction, creating cloud computing, mentorium education app, financial networks platforms, GIZMO and a host of other brilliant ideas.
Tarun Raj of XI-A bagged the first position for his presentation of the innovative idea on ‘Mentorium Edu.’ Parween Kumar of XI-F and Kartikeyan Vinod of IX-E won second and third positions for their presentations on ‘Cloud Computing’ and ‘Carbon Red’ respectively. ISM BRIDGE, an initiative of Indian School Muscat, nourishes students’ fresh ideas, empowering them with skills to bring a positive change in themselves and the world.

Principal, Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan said, “ISM BRIDGE is not about ideas, but it’s about making ideas happen”. Appreciating the efforts of students and the teacher-mentors he expressed the hope that ISM BRIDGE will continue to improve the entrepreneurial skills of the young minds, who will benefit society and the world economy at large.
