MUSCAT: The meetings of the nineteenth session of the Omani-Iranian Joint Economic Cooperation Committee will begin from Wednesday in Muscat, and will last for two days.
IRNA quoted the Iranian ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Ali Najafi, as saying that the committee’s meeting will be attended by the Iranian Minister of Industry, Minerals and Trade, Reza Rahmani, who is scheduled to arrive in Muscat later on Tuesday.
He added that the Iranian minister plans, during his stay in Oman, to hold a number of meetings with a number of Omani officials.

The agency said that the volume of trade between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman amounted to one billion dollars in the first ten months of the current Iranian fiscal year.
