MUSCAT : The total number of fixed mobile subscriptions via internet protocol in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 3.2% as of the end of November 2021, according to data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The number of fixed internet subscriptions reached 526,367 by the end of November 2021.
Total fixed telephone line subscriptions reached 577,966 by the end of November 2021, while the number of mobile phone subscriptions reached 6,026,395, comprising a decline by 3.1% compared to the same period in 2020.

The total international capacity of the internet went down by 2.6% compared to November 2020 to stand at 1,501,777 megabytes.
The number of local leased circuits reached 4,950, whereas the number of Telex line subscriptions stood at 116 by the end of November 2021.
