MUSCAT : Chevrolet Groove, the sporty and youthful new offering from General Motors, made its debut in the Omani market after garnering spectacular reviews following its launch in key markets across the world.

The all-new 2022-edition of the compact SUV, bristling with innovative technologies and infotainment features, has been designed keeping in mind the tech-savvy millennial generation of the Middle East. And with prices starting at OMR 6,889 (inclusive of VAT), the superbly sculpted and engineered Groove is also one of the most affordable SUVs in its class and segment.

Every facet of the Chevrolet Groove is inspired by Chevrolet’s design ethos. Stunning in style, the trendy SUV exudes a combination of lean, muscular and athletic sportiness whether parked or in motion. This striking personality is also reflected in its signature horizontal three-line grille emblazoned with the Chevrolet bowtie and flanked by ultra-thin headlamps.

Neat and nimble, the Chevrolet Groove is powered by a 1.5L engine mated with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to ensure a smooth and immaculate performance on the road.  With excellent fuel efficiency and fun-to-drive characteristics, the sporty crossover delivers on looks, performance and reliability – the enduring hallmarks of GM’s Chevrolet SUV range.

Safety features like 4 airbags and Technology features come standard across all variants in the Groove line-up from the base trim upwards. For ease of driving and maneuverability, there is a reverse camera and sensors, while a multifunctional steering wheel ensures all controls are easily accessible from Cruise Control.  Stability and Traction Control also ensures the driver remains in control, no matter the road conditions.

A spacious and delightfully designed cabin can seat up to five people. Taking centre-stage in the cabin is an 8-inch screen packed with the latest Chevrolet infotainment capabilities with Apple Carplay and Android auto, including phone projection, USB ports, and up to six speakers.  A panoramic sunroof in the Premier trim helps bring a bit of the outside world into the comfortable cabin.
