Indian Ambassador Amit Narang visits Oman’s SeaPride

MUSCAT: His Excellency Amit Narang, Indian Ambassador visited the office of SeaPride, Oman’s largest privately owned fisheries company.

Mohammed Ameen, Managing Director of Sea Pride welcomed the Indian Ambassador and briefed about the business activities of SeaPride.

“We are honoured and thankful to HE Amit Narang who visited our facility. We briefed the Ambassador about our business and fishing sector in general. The sector contributes highly to Oman’s economy,” Ameen said.

Known as the pioneer in Oman’s fisheries industry, Ameen has over 30 years of experience in the sector.

SeaPride boasts many fishing factories in the country including one in Sur, Sharqiyah and in Duqm. SeaPride’s factory in Sur is the state-of-the-art as well as the largest in the country. It is outfitted with modern equipment and cutting-edge technology.

Under the leadership of Ameen, SeaPride has introduced international standards and production lines in the new factory with the objective of continuing to improve the quality of its products. Ameen was recently honoured with the 10-year long-term visa by the government of Oman.
