MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police on Monday arrested a motorist after an expatriate was killed in a hit-and-run incident.
In a statement issued, ROP said person did not stop his vehicle and left the “scene of the accident.”
“The North Al Batinah Police Command has arrested a person on charges of running over an expatriate, which resulted in the death of the victim and his fleeing from the scene of the accident. Legal procedures are being completed against him,” the statement from ROP said.
