MUSCAT: 50 industrial opportunities worth OMR 250 million will launched in Oman next year, His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef,
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said on Sunday.
Addressing the media on the sidelines of revealing details about the state’s general budget at the Ministry of Finance, the Minister said the industrial opportunities will launched in cooperation with the Petroleum Development Oman.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Commerce said the contribution of service activities to the country’s GDP during the first six months reached 51.7 percent.

The number of applications submitted through the “Invest Easy” portal during the first quarter of this year amounted to over 175,000 applications, the Minister said.
“A guide to pricing government services fees has been prepared with the aim of stimulating and supporting the national economy and providing facilities that help beneficiaries of services. It will be applied starting next year as a first stage to the ministries of commerce and industry and investment promotion, heritage and tourism, and the municipality sector,” Al Yousef added.
