MUSCAT: The Council of Ministers has approved a study to amend the Law to Protect Public Funds and Avoid Conflicts of Interest issued by Royal Decree No. 112/2011 with the aim of enhancing transparency and government measures taken to combat corruption.
The State’s Financial and Administrative Control Authority will coordinate with the competent authorities on the draft amendments that will be introduced to the applicable law in order to achieve greater protection of public money.
