MUSCAT : The National Museum displays the second edition of the Bible, which was printed on 29 February 1960, by the Pauline publishers, in the town of Harissa (Lebanese Republic).
It is made of mother-of-pearl, coloured foil paper, hardpaper, and is printed in black and red ink.
This Bible was presented to the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur on 20 April 2006 by Gregorius III Lahamus, Emeritus Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, of Alexandria and Jerusalem, former spiritual leader of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church (at that time) on the occasion of his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
