MUSCAT: Oman is one among the first countries to have internet access in schools, according to the Network Readiness Index published by the World Economic Forum.
“Oman is one of the first countries worldwide to have Internet Access in schools according to the the Network Readiness Index which is published by the World Economic Forum,” Competitive Oman said in the statement.
The Indicator Measure was done on 130 countries globally. Among the technology pillar access, Oman stands 14th globally with a score of 94.58, while in government online services, the Sultanate is ranked 24th globally.
