MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces visited the Al Samoud camp on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defence said. “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, paid this morning a visit to the Al-Samoud camp.”
According to the statement, His Majesty listened to a briefing about the evolution of the Sultan’s Special Forces and its operational capabilities.

His Majesty the Sultan was also shown a demonstration by the members of the Sultan’s Special Forces.
His Majesty was accompanied by HH Sayyid Theyazin Bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
