MUSCAT: Arabian Gulf Automobiles and Equipment LLC (AGAE), which is a part of Bahwan International Group, has launched futuristic Changan models sedan EADO Plus, Hunter pick-up and CS 75 Plus crossover. These models are equipped with sophisticated design, segment leading technology and superior driving comfort.

The interiors in these models are out to make a statement and change the expectations of customers of the Luxury appeal, connectivity and comfort in this segment of cars. The huge 12-inch infotainment screen in the CS75 Plus, the full digital instrument cluster, and 360-degree cameras, all of which are high resolution and far more advanced than any other in the segment. These models use state of the art technology like phone mirroring and easy connection, navigation as well as 360 degree Camera. CS75 sporty SUV has slim LED headlamps, DRLs that run the full width, Red accents along the bodywork and quad exhaust pipes which are fully functional. The Hunter Pickup is a wide bodied model equipped with wide 17” tires, high ground clearance, side steps, cargo hooks and cargo area protector – built to perform on Oman roads. 

And finally, these models stand out from the competition with its safety technology like the blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance in the CS75 Plus. The Hunter Pickup Standard options include Driver assistance systems i.e. Hill Hold assist, Hill Descent control and Industry-leading approach angle/departure angle to ensure driving safety. 

The innovative all-new Changan EADO Plus 2022 model with two engine variants – 1.4 Turbo and 1.6 litre engines is a compact yet aggressive family sedan with premium styling, luxurious interior, and plenty of safety features.

The advanced Changan Hunter pick-up with two engine variants – 2.4 turbo gasoline and 1.9 turbo diesel engine with great pickup capabilities is sturdy, spacious and is suitable for various load and road conditions.

The modern and compact SUV Changan CS75 Plus comes in 2.0 Turbo gasoline 8 speed automatic transmission which has luxury and sport variants offers a host of special features including premium design, comfortable automotive interior, and highly intelligent configuration.

Changan EADO Plus 

With intelligent safety features to assist, EADO Plus lets drivers be at peace when on the road. Taking from the inherent design language, EADO Plus ups the ante with a crisply styled exterior that emphasizes a strong sense of sportiness. With an engine of 1.4 Turbo, the Changan EADO Plus sport edition offers power of 155 hp, Nm torque and transmission of 7 speed DCT. The model offers a dimension of 4730x1820x1505 mm (LxWxH), a wheelbase of 2700 mm, fuel tank of 53 litres and excellent fuel economy of 18.3 km per litre as per GSO.

The highlights of Changan EADO Plus 1.4 T 7 DCT’s limited edition includes EADO Plus 1.4 T 7 DCT SPORT features and some extra features. Under the hood of the Changan EADO Plus, 1.6 L CVT Trend produces 126 hp and 168 Nm of torque mated with a CVT for one of the most comfortable rides. Changan EADO PLUS 1.6 L CVT Smart model includes Eado Plus 1.6 L CVT Trend features and other attractive features. 

Changan Hunter 

Boasting of class leading power and excellent ground clearance, it delivers an unmatched level of supremacy and capability. Offering excellent seating comfort, SUV like interiors and manifold features, Changan Hunter ensures a pleasurable and comfortable drive for the passengers.

Changan Hunter’s double cabin pick-up comes with a 2.4 turbo gasoline engine producing 210 hp with a 6 speed manual transmission and is available in 2WD and 4WD. The ‘power to perform’ Changan Hunter also comes with a 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine producing 150 hp with a 6-speed manual transmission and is available in 4 WD.

This incredible pick-up is built on a large wheelbase of up to 3180 mm and measures 5330 mm in length, 1930 mm in width and 1835 mm in height. With capacity to carry a substantial weight, it has a ground clearance of 230 mm and fuel tank capacity of 80 litres.

Changan CS75 Plus 

The 2WD Changan CS 75 Plus features a more sloped roofline and more power. Under the hood, it has a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with a power of 224 hp and torque of 360 Nm. With a wheelbase of 2710 mm, it measures 4700 mm in length, 1865 mm in width and 1710 mm in height. 

Standard features in the CS75 Plus include power windows, central locking, cruise control, dual-zone auto A/C, 8 speakers, multifunctional steering wheel, USB+AUX ports, 12-inch screen, Bluetooth, 360 camera, leather ventilated seats, sunroof, fog lamps, parking sensors LED headlamps, panoramic roof, keyless entry and start, and 19-inch wheels. Safety features includes dual front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, and hill assist.

Changan CS75 Plus 2.0 T B AT Luxury includes the features of CS7S Plus 2.0 T 8 AT Sport features. The exterior features of Changan CS75 Plus 2.0 T 8 AT SPORT includes 19″ dual tone alloy wheels, LED headlamps, front fog lights with cornering, panoramic sunroof, ORVM – electrically adjustable, folding and heating, rear led tail lamps and quad exhaust pipes.
