MUSCAT: In response to the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the government, represented by the Ministry of Labour, has made the sixth announcement of its kind that will provide 1,152 jobs in the State’s Administrative Apparatus departments.
The announcement pertains to new jobs in 14 government departments, of them 169 are instances of direct replacement of expatriate manpower. Nine among the announced job opportunities will go to persons with disabilities.
The employment opportunities will be open for competition among a wide spectrum of jobs seekers who are holders of educational qualifications ranging from PhD (1 vacancy) to Master’s degree (10 vacancies), Bachelor’s degree (1,030 vacancies) and General Education Diploma (103 vacancies). Eight of the vacancies are kept for job seekers who do not hold educational qualifications.
