MUSCAT: A Joint Operation Centre (JOC) will operate round the clock during the complete lockdown from July 20 to 22, to ensure availability of basic services and to facilitate the emergency movement of people, the Supreme Committee has informed.
JOC will comprise representatives from the Royal Oman Police, health care, tourism, trade and industry, municipality, communications and information technology and from the agricultural, fisheries and water resources.
The Supreme Committee has urged both citizens and residents “to strictly abide by the preventive measures and lockdown of business activities and ban of movement on vehicles and individuals to contain the spread of the virus.”
