MUSCAT: Copy of work permit will only be accepted online while applying for new visas, Ministry of Labour has informed on Sunday.
The decision comes after the Ministry has completed the electronic link project with Royal Oman Police. In a statement issued, the Ministry said it has stopped accepting “paper copy” of the work permits. “The paper copy (hard copy) of work licenses will be not accepted when applying for new visas. The work permit data for the visas must be provided electronically. The electronic link between the ministry and the Royal Oman Police has been completed,” Ministry of Labour said in the statement.
