Two expats arrested over fake PCR test certificates in Oman

ROP says the expats obtained the fake PCR certificates from a travel agency in Oman.

MUSCAT: Two expats were arrested on Monday at Muscat International Airport on charges of forging COVID-19 PCR test certificates, Royal Oman Police said.

In a statement issued, ROP said they obtained the PCR certificates through a travel agency. “The General Directorate of Airport Security arrested two foreigners on charges of forging medical reports, while they were trying to leave the Sultanate through Muscat International Airport using forged certificates of Covid-19 PCR obtained through a travel agency, and the case is under procedure,” ROP said.
