MUSCAT: For the second-day in a row, authorities have issued notice to three commercial establishments in North Al Batinah Governorate for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee.
In a statement issued, the Government Communication Centre (GC) said three commercial establishments in Suwaiq including Noor Gazal, Taj Hypermarket and Taj Deluxe Shopping have been fined.
“The Municipality of North Al Batinah issues violations against commercial establishments in the Wilayat of Suwaiq for not complying with decisions of the Supreme Committee,” the statement said.

Earlier on Monday, four commercial in Barka including Makkah Hypermarket were fined for breaching the coronavirus rules.
In the wake of rising coronavirus in the country, the authorities have intensified inspections to contain the spread of the virus. Oman registered more than 2,500 new infections and 31 deaths on Monday.
