MUSCAT: Vaccinations in the Sultanate have ramped up, with a total of 18% of the population receiving the vaccine against Covid-19, according to the Ministry of Health.
According to MOH, “71% received the first dose, while 29% received two doses so far,” the statement from MOH said.
COVID-19 infections in Oman are at their peak — the highest daily average reported — now at 2,037 new infections reported each day.

There have been 252,609 infections and 2,782 coronavirus-related deaths reported in the country since the pandemic began.
