MUSCAT: The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination campaign that is is being held at Oman Automobile Association (OAA) will be postponed until further notice, Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
In a statement issued, MOH said the drive-through campaign has been postponed based on the decisions taken by the Supreme Committee.
“We take your attention that the drive-thru vaccination campaign will be postponed until further notice based on the Supreme Committee decisions which includes movement ban of individuals from 8:00pm to 4:00am starting from Sunday June 20,2021. We will update you with all developments in the coming period,” the statement from MOH said.

In the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the country, the Supreme Committee imposed an indefinite night lockdown between 8pm to 4am including closing all public places and commercial activities and movement ban on individuals and vehicles. However, essential businesses will be allowed to remain open, and home-delivery services are exempted from the lockdown.
