MUSCAT: Oman has announced the launch of an online booking system for people to take the coronavirus vaccine.
The Ministry of Health has launched the service of booking vaccination appointments via the website https://covid19.moh.gov.om/ and through the Tarassud Plus application. People aged 45 and above are now eligible to book appointments to take their coronavirus vaccination, MOH said on Thursday.

The main vaccination centre at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center will work from 8am to 2pm and 3pm to 9pm on weekday’s and from 9am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday.
Oman is witnessing a surge in coronavirus cases and deaths in the country. On Thursday, MOH registered 2,015 cases, while 35 people died battling the virus in 24 hours.
