Number of patients in Oman hospitals crosses 1,000-mark as Covid cases surge

Oman on Wednesday registered 1,931 new cases, including 14 deaths.

MUSCAT: The number of COVID-19 patients admitted in various hospitals crossed 1,000 mark as new infections are on the rise in Oman.

According to a new data issued by the Ministry of Health, there are now 1,021 patients admitted in hospitals of which 329 in ICU. In less than 24 hours, 128 people are admitted in hospitals, MOH said.

Oman on Wednesday registered 1,931 new cases, including 14 deaths.
