MUSCAT: Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has confirmed that it is moving forward in completing the development projects in Musandam Governorate.
The Ministry said it is completing the necessary procedures to develop Khasab Port by submitting a bid for the management, operation and its development.
The ministry said that it has coordinated with the competent authorities to launch a tender to choose the route of Dibba-Lima-Khasab road and prepare the tender documents for implementation. It will also allow individuals to operate their own vehicles to provide transportation service through smart applications.

The Ministry pointed out that it is coordinating with the Civil Aviation Authority is coordinating with the relevant authorities to transform Khasab Airport for civil and military use.
