More than 335,000 people in Oman vaccinated: Ministry of Health

Vaccination for those in the age of 45 and above will start on June 21.

MUSCAT: More than 335,000 people in the country received the COVID-19 vaccine, Oman’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Tuesday.

“A total of 335,866 people were vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine in the Sultanate since the beginning of the national campaign for immunisation against Covid-19 on December 27 of last year until June 7, 2021, representing 9.3 per cent of the total population, MOH said.

Meanwhile, vaccination for those in the age of 45 and above will start on June 21, MOH informed.
