COVID-19 in Oman: Nearly 300 patients admitted in ICU

MUSCAT: A steady increase in COVID-19-related admissions to hospitals and intensive care units continues to weigh heavily on Oman’s health-care system as overall case counts begin to rise, the country’s Ministry of Health said.

On Monday, the total number of ICU patients touched 297, while the total hospital cases reached 966, including 114 admissions in the last 24 hours, the data from MOH showed.

In 24 hours, the Sultanate registered more than 1,200 cases, taking the total count to 225095 including 2424 deaths.
