MUSCAT: A motorist was arrested after a man was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Muscat.
In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said the driver failed to stop after hitting the cyclist, causing his death.
“Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a vehicle driver on charges of running over a cyclist and fleeing the scene of the accident, causing his death. Legal procedures are being completed against him,” ROP said in the statement.
