MUSCAT: Children under the age of 12 in Oman are allowed to visit shopping malls and other public places, as the country is slowly returning to normal life amid strict COVID-19 precautionary measures.
In a decision issued on Wednesday, the Supreme Committee said commercial shops, restaurants and cafes must limit capacity at 50%, while allowing children aged below 12 years to enter them. Earlier due to the pandemic, kids below 12 were not allowed in shopping malls, and restaurants.
