MUSCAT: This weekend will be dusty, humid and slightly hotter for Oman residents, with temperatures forecast to notch up to a maximum 47 degrees Celsius today, May 21.
In a statement issued, Oman Met said the highest temperature expected today is 47 in Fahud, while temperature in Wilayat Seeb will be 44/32 and 33/26 in Wilayat of Salalah. However, the lowest temperature is 17 degrees in Jabal Shams.
In a statement issued, Oman Met said: “The weather is generally clear in most of the governorates of the Sultanate, with the possibility of clouds forming on the Hajar Mountains during the evening and the possibility of low clouds forming at the end of the night and early morning on parts of the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the possibility of dust rising in the desert areas of the governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar.”
