MUSCAT: Omantel said its mobile internet services have been fully restored after a temporary disruption occurred due to a fire at an electricity substation on Monday.
In a statement issued, Omantel said it is technical team have dealt with the situation. “Our technical teams have restored the mobile internet services for users whose service was temporarily affected. We renew our sincere thanks to you for understanding,” Omantel said in a statement.
Earlier on Monday, Omantel said a some of its services were affected due to a fire at an electricity grid substation. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to the operation of our networks as a consequence of the unfortunate fire at an electricity grid substation,” Omantel said.
