COVID-19: More than 200,000 people vaccinated in Oman

Vaccination coverage rate of health workers touched 91 per cent.

MUSCAT: More than 200,000 people have received the first dose of Pfizer and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines from December 15 to May 15.

According to the statistics issued by the Ministry of Health, 214,92 people received the first dose of vaccine. Over 78,000 people in the target group of 60 years and above have been vaccinated across the Sultanate with a coverage rate of 72 per cent, while the coverage rate of health workers reached 91 per cent.
