MUSCAT: Oman received a batch of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine from China, Ministry of Health said on Monday.
However, MOH said the Chinese community living in the Sultanate has the priority to take the vaccine.
“As part of the bilateral relations and cooperation between the Sultanate and the People’s Republic of China, the Sultanate received today a batch of Covid-19 vaccine (Sinovac) provided by the People’s Republic of China. The Chinese community living in the Sultanate has the priority to take the vaccine,” MOH said.

“MOH would like to thank the friendly Chinese embassy, representative by the ambassador, for the valuable cooperation in the health field since the beginning of the pandemic,” the statement added.
