MUSCAT: Arabian Gulf Automobiles and Equipment LLC (AGAE), which is part of Bahwan International Group has launched the Changan Alsvin MY2022 the new exquisite family sedan.

All-new Changan Alsvin has a streamlined body design, exquisite interior and impeccable energy-efficient engine, the Changan Alsvin allows owners to exceed their everyday expectations. The 1.5Litre engine car truly brings unparalleled value to customers and offers an excellent fuel economy of 18.3 km per litre.

Arabian Gulf Automobiles and Equipment LLC (AGAE), which is part of Bahwan International Group, recently announced a partnership with leading international automotive group Changan Automobile Co. Ltd to bring its range of passenger vehicles to Oman including Changan Alsvin. 

The Premium Automotive Brand CHANGAN recently launched in Oman has received overwhelming response among the customers. Changan Automobile boasts of a comprehensive portfolio of range of products including Sedan, Crossovers and SUVs like EADO – Family Sedan, CS35 PLUS Crossover, CS75 4WD Crossover, CS85 Luxury Lifestyle coupe, CS95 7 Seater 4WD and Changan Alsvin- B-segment family sedan.

A spokesperson for AGAE said, “We are pleased to launch All-new Changan Alsvin which is equipped with an energy-efficient 1.5 Litre Engine coupled with 5-speed dual clutch transmission. It brings all the key features and technology to the customers in an entry level segment that one could have previously wished for it. The additional features offered are comparable to any C-segment sedan such as Sunroof, 7″ Touchscreen, Rear View Camera, Bluetooth, Cruise control, TPMS, Push start button and Daytime running lights.

Changan Alsvin’s styling is contemporary for this entry level four-door segment with sleek and swoopy lines. Measuring 4390mm x 1725mm x 1490mm and boot capacity is quite adequate 390 litres. Changan Alsvin’s front end is dominated by a large grille that extends below the bumper line and its interior is modern with a dashboard that features a floating infotainment touch screen that is much preferred now.

The Changan Alsvin with a 1.5-litre inline-4 motor engine puts out 105hp and 145Nm of torque. This paired to a five-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Changan Alsvin Premium P21

Changan Alsvin Premium P21’s exterior features have 14″ steel wheel with cover, halogen headlamps, front grille in black, shark fin antenna and ORVM electrically adjustable. Interior of the car offers fabric seats, 4-way front seats adjustable, front centre armrest. While safety features include front airbags, ESP + HHC and TPMS. The infotainment features include Bluetooth, USB, Radio and 2 speakers and comfort includes steering adjustment.

Changan Alsvin Technology P21 

The Changan Alsvin Technology P21 edition includes all Alsvin Premium P21 features. In addition, it includes exterior features such as 15″ alloy wheels, electric sunroof, led DRLS, front grille in chrome, window trims in chrome, ORVM with heating function, rear defogger. The interior has a multifunction steering wheel, leather + fabric seats, 6-way driver seat adjustable, 12v power supply. Safety features has rear parking sensors and reverse camera. Infotainment attributes include 7″ Touchscreen and 4 Speakers. Additionally, it offers cruise control.
