MUSCAT: Customers are allowed to enter shops until 8pm, while children under the age of 12 are still barred from visiting commercial stores, Muscat Municipality has clarified.
This comes after the Supreme Committee decided to lift the ban on commercial activities and movement of individuals and vehicles starting from May 15. “All commercial activities can open, while they must stop the entry of customers after 8pm until 4am,” Muscat Municipality said in an interaction with the public on Saturday.
However, Municipality said gyms, sport clubs, grass sport lands, and tartans, will be closed until further notice. Meanwhile, shopping malls, restaurants, shops and cafes can allow 50 per cent of customers within their operating hours.
