MUSCAT: Shanunah Al Nu’mani, a nurse working with the Ministry of Health has died of COVID-19, making it the first death among Omani health workers in the country.
In a message issued on Friday, MOH said the country offer its sincere condolences to Shanunah’s family. “His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, and all the employees of the health services in the Sultanate offer sincere condolences to the family Shanunah Al Nu’mani, who died after being infected with the Covid 19 virus.”
Oman’s total Covid-19 cases has touched 202,713 cases including 2148 deaths.
