MUSCAT: The number of mobile phone subscribers in Oman has crossed over six million, according to a new data released by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) on Monday.
According to the data, by the end of March 2021, there are 6,109,000 mobile phone subscriptions.
“The total number of fixed phone subscriptions in Oman reached over 590,000 subscriptions by the end of last March, while the total number of mobile phone subscriptions exceeded 6,109,000,” the report said.

Meanwhile, the mobile broadband Internet has also increased to more than 1.5 million subscriptions by the end of March.
