MUSCAT: Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) has confirmed its readiness for the mass coronavirus vaccination drive set to begin in June, the Ministry of Health confirmed on Monday.
“In the implementation of the Ministrial decision issued by Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from (Covid-19) regarding using Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre as Covid-19 immunization site in Muscat Governorate during the upcoming June,” the statement from MOH said.
“H.E Dr Mahammed Saif Al Hosni, Ministry of Health’s Undersecretary for Health Affairs and H.E Maitha Saif Al Mahrooqi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism visited the OCEC to examine the work progress and the requirements needed for the National Immunization Campaign against Covid-19,” MOH added.
