MUSCAT: Heavy rainfall is expected on Saturday in the northern governorates of Oman, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.
In a statement issued, CAA said urged people to be cautious during the next coming hours. “heavy rains will be between 2 pm and 7 pm,” the statement said.
“Abundance of thunderstorms likely to fall (25mml to 50mml), which are accompanied by active to very fast downward winds (30- 45 knots), hails, the flow of wadis and low horizontal visibility over parts of Governorates of Muscat, Al Batinah south and north, Al Sharqiya South and north, Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah in the coming hours. “
