MUSCAT: Citizens and residents can expect thunderstorm and strong winds over some parts of Oman, on Monday.
According to Oman Meteorology, thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail will hit parts of the country including Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, North and South Al Sharqiyah.
“The latest updates of the Omani meteorology shows continuing activity of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail on the coasts of North and South of Al Batinah and parts of the phenomenon, with the chances of it moving east towards the governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, North and South Al Sharqiyah,” Oman Met said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority has called on the public to be cautious.
“Some governorates of the Sultanate is witnessing scattered rains accompanied by brisk winds, and therefore the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority calls on citizens and residents to take caution,” CDAA said.
