MUSCAT: More than 1,500 cases have been registered in the month of April, Oman’s Public Prosecution said on Monday.
In a statement issued, PP said 1,688 cases have been registered in March compared to 2,501 cases in March 2021. “As for the judicial decisions issued, they amounted to 2225 decisions compared to 2730 decisions in the previous month,” PP said.
“The statistics indicated that the judicial orders issued last April amounted to 8,359 orders compared to 11649 orders in the previous month, while the total investigation records in April touched 6,133 minutes compared to 5,287 minutes last March,” the statement said.
