MUSCAT: In line with the bank’s vision “To serve you better, everyday” and to enhance its world-class Islamic banking experience for the benefit of customers in all parts of the Sultanate, Meethaq Islamic banking from Bank Muscat has opened its 24th branch in Oman in the Wilayat of Suwaiq in the Governorate of North Al Batinah. As the pioneer of Islamic banking in Oman, Meethaq is continuously launching new services and expanding its presence in the country.
Meethaq branches are spread all across the Sultanate, where 12 branches are located in Muscat and 12 in other governorates. The newly-opened Suwaiq branch is located beside the main road before the Suwaiq roundabout in the Batha Al Hilal area. It adds to the bank’s already excellent network of branches and a dedicated network of over 40 ATMs/CDMs across different governorates. The new branch is staffed by well qualified and experienced Omani employees and its normal working hours will be from 8 am to 2 pm (and from 9 am – 1 pm during the Holy Month of Ramadhan). The branch offers a full suite of retail banking operations and services such as home finance, auto finance and other retail facilities are compatible with the principles and provisions of Islamic Sharia’a. It also has The Hafawa Centre for the benefit of Meethaq’s Premium Banking customers.
