MUSCAT: With no let-up in Oman’s COVID-19 surge, hospitalisation cases climbed to record levels, with 89 people being admitted in less than 24 hours.
According to the latest figure releases by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the total hospital cases touched 419 on Thursday of which 128 are in intensive care units. On Thursday, 733 new cases have been registered, taking the total Covid infections in the country to 153,838, while a total of 1650 people have died battling the virus.
