MUSCAT : Multinational conglomerate LuLu Group International has taken delivery of a fleet of refrigerated trucks from Isuzu, the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, to support its expanding hypermarket and retail operations across the Sultanate.

The sale underscores Isuzu Motors’ robust appeal as the refrigerated transportation vehicle of choice for leading players in the wholesale and retail distribution of chilled goods. Exclusively marketed in Oman by OTE Group, the globally renowned truck brand offers exceptional value to operators.

To meet its substantive transportation requirements, LuLu opted for the hot-selling Isuzu N Series of trucks featuring the versatile NPR 85 chassis.  In line with the customer’s demanding specs, each vehicle was fitted with a refrigerated body suitably customized with partitions and multilayer racks to hold all kinds of chilled and frozen merchandise.  Equipped with sturdy chiller units suited for Oman’s extreme summer temperatures, each vehicle eventually ticked all of the boxes for durability, efficiency and productivity.

Isuzu’s N-Series of trucks has all of the attributes of a refrigerated transportation powerhouse. Powered by a 130 HP turbo engine of 2999 cc capacity with 5-speed gear box, each truck has a gross vehicle weight rating of 6.5 tons, offering high stability on the road.  A spacious cabin ensures ample comfort for the driver and passenger.
