All Bank Muscat credit cardholders are eligible for this offer at over 100 participating merchant outlets including electronics, home furniture, auto services, jewellery, insurance and healthcare. Bank Muscat credit cards, which spell convenience and security, are a preferred mode of payment in Oman and the EPP scheme reiterates the bank’s commitment to promoting secure card payments in Oman. Customers can visit any of the participating merchants and request for an EPP at the time of making the payment. Each time a purchase is made through EPP, the available credit limit in the credit card account will be reduced by an amount equal in value to the purchase amount. However, with every monthly instalment payment, the available balance will increase by that amount. The bank will collect payments as per the standing instructions given by the customer.
Customers who have credit cards with reward programmes will continue to be eligible for rewards points as per the amount spent through the card. It is also important to note that customers are not required to provide any additional documents, and the scheme goes a long way in ensuring affordability for high-end products and services.
