MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in encouraging a savings culture in Oman, recently held its salary transfer draws for the month of January. The event was held at the bank’s Head Office along with the monthly draws in other categories in line with the bank’s commitment to encouraging a savings culture in Oman and 20 winners were chosen in the salary transfer segment.
Bank Muscat is playing a keen role in increasing the savings habit of people in the country in line with national goals. By continuously innovating over the past three decades based on customer feedback, the bank offers the largest number of prizes in Oman across different customer segments including the salary transfer segment. The bank is proud of the success so far achieved by Al Mazyona in promoting the concept of savings in the Omani society.
All customers who transfer their salaries to Al Mazyona accounts are eligible to be entered into the salary transfer draws. Al Mazyona rewards 10 winners every month from among those with salaries between OMR 500 and OMR 999 every month, and winners were chosen during the draw for the month of January. These winners will be paid a monthly salary prize of OMR 500 for a whole year as a reward for choosing Al Mazyona salary accounts. Similarly, 10 winners with salaries above OMR 1,000 were chosen from amongst Al Jawhar customers. These winners too will receive OMR 500 every month for a whole year. It must be noted that as many as 240 winners will receive a total of over OMR 1.4 million in prizes in monthly salary transfer draws for 2021.
In 2021, Bank Muscat has further increased the number of prizes in the country’s largest savings scheme with 7,470 winners all set to be rewarded for their savings habit, up by 12 percent from 6,677 in the previous year. Special prizes have also been reserved for Asalah and Al Jawhar customers as well as for regional, women, youth, and children’s categories. With the bank livestreaming the prize draws on its official social media channels like Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, the Al Mazyona scheme has been witnessing rising interest from the bank’s customers and the general public.
