MUSCAT: Ministry of Health said it has postponed giving people the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine due to the delay in receiving the shipment from the manufacturer.
In a statement issued, MOH said the delay will not affect the “desired effectiveness of the vaccine.”
“The delay has been caused by the manufacturer in supplying the agreed doses to Oman. This delay is applicable to most of the countries due to the demand,” MOH said.
