MUSCAT: More than 7,000 jobs opportunities are available in Oman’s government sector, Ministry of Labour said on Wednesday.
Among the placements, Ministry of Education has more job vacancies in the government sector. “2,469 jobs are available in the education sector, while 830 jobs are in Ministry of Health, 115 jobs in Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation,” said Sheikh Nasr Al Hosni, Undersecretary of Ministry of Labour.
Meanwhile, 151 jobs are in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, 292 are in the University of Technology and Applied Sciences and 65 jobs in Municipality sector. “Jobs in public sector is based only on requirement,” he added.
