DUBAI: Dubai on Friday issued new guidelines for dining out at restaurants in the wake of rising coronavirus cases.
In a statement issued by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management said to increase the distance between tables at restaurants and cafes from 2 meters to 3 meters. The number of people allowed to sit at one table has been reduced from 10 to 7 at restaurants and to 4 at cafes.
The committee issued strict guidelines for gatherings at social events. A maximum of 10 people would be allowed to gather at private parties and attendees must be limited to first degree relatives. The rule applies for gatherings at a hotel or at a home.
